Genny A Sicilian Goddess

It is an Italian American story that starts in Sicily and is based during the post World War II era. It is inspired by the Godfather, but with some unexpected quirky twists that were inspired by my own life. I have done an immense amount of historical research to make it accurate. It is in the perspective of a woman, Genny, trapped in the stereotypical southern Italian lifestyle, and dreams of reaching her full potential. She finds a way to start a new life, after falling for the handsome Italian American, Armando. He is visiting her home town of Trapani, and has charmed his way into her soul, promising her the world. To start, she returns back to New York City with him, but will his charm be enough? There are glimpses of the rolling Sicilian landscape, illusions of life in NYC, historical references of authors, painters, photographers, Chopin, Hollywood sirens, politicians, philosophers, Greek Deities, and Frida Kahlo. Get lost in Genny’s vibration. While she discovers the world, she discovers herself.
